BIO
Kyle is a mixed media artist from Mechanicsburg, PA. He is a husband and a father of 3. At a very young age, he found a great interest in creating both visually and sonically. He attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he studied an eclectic assortment of mediums including electronic music, painting and woodworking. While at UArts, Kyle earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Since graduating he has continued to work as a musician and artist.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My work explores and personifies the less popular and more difficult aspects of life. I begin each piece with a broad idea and execute it viscerally, creating a direct path from brain to hand. Working in mixed media, I layer textures and materials to reflect the complexity of internal struggles—fragmented, multifaceted, and rarely uniform. This intuitive process gives my work its essence while helping me navigate life beyond the studio. My pieces are outward expressions of these challenges and a reminder that if you are struggling, you are not alone.
